Music in the Classroom and a Giveaway!

How many of us are teachers who use music in the classroom? Maybe a mom who uses music at home with your own children? I can raise a hand on both of those. Music is a tool that can be used for any subject or any grade level. Yes, even the big ones can learn through music! For English Language Learners in our classrooms or for anyone who is learning a second language, music is a tool that can be used in order to make learning a second language easier. Click to read more about an artist who uses music to do just that and enter a giveaway to win her new album!

Donors Choose Step By Step

I posted previously about a project I posted on Donors Choose being funded. The kids loved using the tablets in our classroom and it was a great way for them to see first hand how a charity works and that it's all thanks to people who are willing to help. I've been looking into flexible seating for my classroom for the 2016-2017 school year and so I thought about doing a step by step post about the process of putting a project on Donors Choose. Keep reading to find out how easy it is to post a project on Donors Choose.
